Believer. Wife. Mother. Daughter. Sister. Educator. Radio Personality. Writer. Psalmist. 20 Pearl Rocker. FreeStyle Enthusiast. Sensitivity Specialist. Artist. Misfit. Awkwardian. Me. Woman.
I am a Longview native and proud wife to the amazing Michael Johnson, Jr. and mother of three adorably handsome sons Michael, Garrison, and Eyan.
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University where I obtained my Bachelor's in Radio and Television and Masters in Social Work. I have served as a Clinical Director of Behavioral Hospital, a Social Service Director, a Youth Minister, Radio Personality, English Teacher, Mentor Program Coordinator, and School Social worker. Over the years I have connected with lots of really cool people.
In the midst of my crazy schedule I love serving as member of the Longview League and I am a proud working member Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In addition, public speaker, I love to sing, I am a Happy Planner, and a writer. I love and choose to be transparent because I want others to know that they are not alone. My desire in sharing my truth is to inspire, uplift and equip others to do and be all that they can.
My past is ugly I have overcome Anorexia, Bulimia, low self- esteem, depression, lost identity, grief, and abuse. I'm still a work in progress but know I am healthy enough to dedicate my time to helping others to uncover the greatness inside so that they can be the person they always dreamed they would be.
My service is inspired by the legacy of my late father Gary Lee Stoker and beautiful mother Rita Stoker who instilled in me the importance of being humble and operating in excellence. They laid the foundation of my faith in Christ and discipled me into adulthood where I have learned that any goodness in me is not innate but instead a result of Gods continuous grace and mercy. Simply put without Jesus I am a mess but with Him I have a message...
