I am a Longview native and proud wife to the amazing Michael Johnson, Jr. and mother of an adorably handsome son named Michael Lynn Johnson III who is soon to be 2 years old.
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University where I obtained my Bachelor's in Radio and Television and Masters in Social Work. I have served as a Clinical Director of Behavioral Hospital, A Social Service Director, a Youth Minister, Radio Personality and an English Teacher at my local high school. Over the years I have connected with lots of really cool people.
Currently, I am the Mentor Program Coordinator of Partner in Prevention for Longview and Kilgore school districts. I have recently made the crazy decision to return to school and am currently a doctoral student at Abilene Christian College studying Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Conflict Resolution.
Daily, the I love for my sorority burns deep in my heart as I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and live to serve. SKEEEEEEWEEEEE!
When I am not running around town trying not to feel like a chicken with my head cut off, I am writing. I choose to be transparent because I want others to know that they are not alone. My desire is to inspire, uplift and equip others to do and be all that they can.
My past is ugly I have overcome Anorexia, Bulimia, low self- esteem, depression, lost identity, grief, and abuse. I'm still a work in progress but know I am healthy enough to dedicate my time to helping other to uncover the greatness inside so that they can be the person they always dreamed they would be.
If I can be of service speaking, teaching, or collaborating please let me know!
